The Turkish Personal Data Protection Board has not issued an adequacy decision for any country to date. Continuous transfers — including hosting — are therefore based on appropriate safeguards under Article 9/2 of the Law: standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules or an undertaking. Where standard contractual clauses are signed, the Board is notified within five business days of signature. Our hosting is located in an EU member state (France), which means the data is processed under the European data protection regime; this does not, however, change the fact that the transfer is made abroad for the purposes of the KVKK.

9. Applications and complaints

To exercise your rights, please use the Data Subject Application Form. Your application is concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest. If your application is rejected or the response is insufficient, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within thirty days of learning the response and in any case within sixty days of the application date.

10. Data security and special categories of data

In accordance with Article 12 of the Law, the following technical and organisational measures are in place to prevent unlawful processing of and access to personal data and to ensure its safekeeping:

  • The entire website is served over TLS (HTTPS) and the HSTS header is enabled.
  • The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA and submissions are verified server-side.
  • Access to the administration panel is limited to authorised users and is excluded from search engine crawling.
  • Cookie preferences are recorded; no cookie requiring consent is set before consent is given.
  • Browser security headers (X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy, Content-Security-Policy) are set in server responses.
  • A contractual relationship governing data processing obligations is in place with our hosting provider.

No special categories of personal data (health, biometric data, criminal convictions, trade union membership and similar) are collected through this website. Please do not include such information in the contact form. The website is also not intended to collect data relating to children under the age of 18.
